It’s Okay to be a Loner
It’s truly okay, tho
It’s okay to be alone. It’s not even a problem to be a loner. Loneliness made you feel your feeling. Loneliness let your brain works more than 100%.
During pandemic like this, people feel stress because of social distancing. People start working at home. They only communicate through Zoom, Slack or WhatsApp. Human interaction is limited, and some research underline this as the source of anxiety.
But I’m totally okay with that. I am proudly introduce myself to be a loner. Pandemic put me under my roof all time and all night. I am alone all the time and that is the best time.
For the record, I am a sales representative for a large company. My job is to make a deal with clients after meeting. I hung out with clients after office, got drunk and socialize. That’s what I do for a living. But, I don’t feel content. I feel drained instead.
If there is no meeting in my schedule, I prefer to get my lunch alone. Sometimes, I got a little more extreme by being alone in the toilet for 2 hours! I don’t eat my lunch there of course, but I just sit, off the phone.
Many of you may see me weird, but I like it. I feel charged and content. Too much communication with human makes me emotionally and physically drained. I need to be alone at least 8 hours in a full day.
